    Our library, which has a young and dynamic structure, offers books, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc. day by day strengthens with academic resources and works. In addition to around 2000 Ottoman period printed works, our library has 13.700 books, 3775 theses, 2000 volumes of journals, 700 encyclopedias and dictionaries. Our library aims to triple its current status through the support of researchers, purchases and donations.

    Reader Services

    Our library serves with an open shelf system. The reader who comes to benefit from the works in the library determines whether the work he is looking for is in the library by scanning the catalog on the internet. Once the location of the work is determined, it can take the work from the relevant shelf and make use of it. He should not put the works he bought back on the bookshelf, but should leave them on the desk. The reader can benefit from the books and magazines available in the library within the framework of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works.

    Lending Services

    Non-library services can only be loaned to Faculty academic staff for a period of 15 days, with a maximum of 5 works. Students and other readers cannot borrow books. They can use the works during working hours.

    Orientation

    The newly joined students of our faculty are informed about the library services, rules and facilities. In addition, tour requests from various educational institutions in order to get to know our Library are also evaluated.

    User trainings are given to student groups at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels in order to ensure effective use of library resources.

    Internet

    Our library has an uninterrupted wireless connection for the use of our students, and our students can use it by obtaining their own user addresses and passwords. In addition, our students can also benefit from wireless internet on their own computers.

    Artwork Donation

    Materials donated to the library (books, magazines, CD-ROMs, etc.) are accepted and evaluated within the scope of the collection development policy. The library's collection development policy is determined in line with the education, training, research areas and cultural needs of the Faculty.

    The compliance of the donated materials with the collection development principles is decided by the Donation and Exchange Commission by taking the opinions of the relevant experts when necessary. The library has the responsibility and authority to decide whether the donated materials will be added to the collection and in which section.

    The material, which is determined to be suitable for the library collection, is added to the collection after the technical procedures are done, the list is kept and a letter of appreciation is sent to the donor or institution on behalf of our Faculty.
